This past weekend, I had the honor of participating in the Virginia Student Day of Action, where we engaged with our esteemed city Senators and Delegates to gather information on forthcoming policy initiatives. The event included insightful workshops with fellow representatives, students, and policymakers, as well as one-on-one meetings with Senators and Delegates. Through this experience, we cultivated a sense of community and commitment to fostering positive change.
Meeting with Senator Roem was particularly thought-provoking, as we delved into discussions on the future of Education, Childhood Hunger, Transportation, and Health Care. One area of significant resonance was the HealthCare crisis, where we shared a commitment to ensuring that everyone receives the healthcare they need.
Participating in the Virginia Student Day of Action has been an enlightening and inspiring experience. It has reinforced our commitment to actively engage in policy discussions and advocate for meaningful changes in our communities. Together, with the support of our Senators and Delegates, we are poised to drive positive progress and ensure a brighter future for all Virginians
